During this period, state and local taxes will not be applied to certain purchases, including clothing, school supplies, personal computers. This tax-free holiday is aimed at back-to-school shoppers. Clothing and footwear of $100 or less is eligible, as are personal computers of $1500 or less, and school supplies of $20 per item or less.</p>
