Chicago Blackhawks’ winger Patrick Kane, 20, and his cousin James Kane, 21, were arrested in Buffalo, NY, for allegedly assaulting a cab driver. According to reports, the cabbie did not have change for the $15 the men paid for their $13.80 cab fare. Angered, they allegedly took their money back and punched the cabbie in his face and head. The cabbie’s eyeglasses were damaged and he sustained cuts to his face.

The charges to the Kanes were second degree robbery, criminal mischief, theft of services. They have already entered a not guilty plea via an attorney. Patrick Kane won the Calder Trophy in 2008, selected as the NHL’s best rookie that year.
